Welcome

Christy Zettl recently moved back to Canada from the United Kingdom after completing a Bachelor of Sciences (Honours) in Health Sciences: Homeopathy at the University of Westminster in London. She has also done post-graduate study at the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy founded by world-renowned homeopath and Alternative Nobel Prize winner, George Vithoulkas.

She is registered with the Society of Homeopaths in the UK and is currently an Associate Member of the Canadian Society of Homeopaths whilst she undergoes the full registration process. She is bound by the strict Code of Ethics and Conduct of each organization.

Christy employs the classical homeopathic method in which a person's illness is viewed as highly individual to them and a single homeopathic medecine is prescribed based on their physical, mental, and emotional characteristics. She has found this to be a gentle yet effective mode of treatment for a variety of conditions.

What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a natural system of medicine that uses highly diluted (potentized) doses of substances to stimulate your body's own healing ability and promote health. The use of homeopathic medicines (often referred to as remedies) is based on the Law of Similars, Similia Similibus Curantur, or let 'likes be cured by likes'. This is the discovery that a substance that would cause symptoms in a healthy person can be used to cure those same symptoms in illness. Read more

Treatment

Homeopathy treats the individual rather than the named disease so it can potentially help people with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Illnesses commonly seen include skin conditions, menstrual and menopausal problems, chronic fatigue, migraines, respiratory conditions, recurrent infections (such as colds, otitis media, tonsillitis, cystitis), digestive disorders, and stress related symptoms such as anxiety and insomnia. As homeopathy is non-addictive, non-toxic, and without side-effects, it can be helpful in pregnancy and labour and can be used to treat a variety of children‚ complaints such as colic, teething, bed-wetting, behavioral issues, and childhood diseases.
